Story: You know how some people don’t act their age? Well, neither do I and I think that’s a good thing! I am Mona, an active and loving, 8 year old grey tabby. Even though I enjoy sitting in your lap and being snuggled and petted, I also like to run and chase toy balls and mice around the room. If you dangle one of those toys on a stick, I will jump up, just like a young kitty would! I am a vocal gal who enjoys a good conversation and I have a wonderful purr motor to let you know how happy I am. I would prefer to be the only cat in the house and not live with canines, either. If you’re looking for a “little old lady” who lays around all day, I’m not the cat for you. But if you want a peppy, playful, cuddling cat, stop by for a visit and let’s talk!

Age: 5
Special Needs: He is on Rx food, which is no more expensive than regular food. He takes this for crystals, and has no litterbox issues because the food resolves the crystal issue.
Length at Shelter: Since 11.20.2013 (The longest resident we have ever had with PPR) He has been adopted twice and returned during that time. Once for allergies and once because of a move and loss of job. He can’t catch a break!
Shelter Currently At: Pet Project Rescue in foster home.

Story: Hi, I’m Franklin. My estimated birthday is 9/5/2011. I love to be near my people, and I am the quintessential lap cat. Smart, alert, and curious, I sometimes think I am a dog because I have the unique talent of playing fetch! Whether you work away from the home all day, or want a lap cat to hang out with you all day at your computer, I’m flexible and would do fine with either. I would do best in a quiet, relaxed home that suits my mellow personality. I promise I’ll be quiet in return… I’m not a vocal cat (though I love to purr). I do well with mellow dogs and cats who are gentle and docile, and have lived with both.

Franklin’s adoption fee is greatly reduced, just $25!

Story: Nala is a very playful and energetic cat and has adapted well to indoor life. She is very content with sitting by the window and watching the wildlife from the comfort of her scratcher. She is also becoming quite the lap cat. She loves to settle in on her foster’s lap and will tolerate some pets while rewarding them with her wonderful purr. She likes attention and has been known to follow her foster around the house to see what is going on. As with most calicos, Nala can get a little feisty at times when she gets overstimulated and she can get irritated when other cats are in the home. For this reason, we feel that Nala would do best in a home with no other pets and no small children.

Nala has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV and has been vaccinated. She is also very good about using her litter box and scratching post. We estimate her date of birth to be 08/15/2015. Her adoption fee is $120 + tax.
