Bert came to rescue earlier this year as an unclaimed stray. He was in rough shape and missing some fur due to untreated skin and ear infections. He has healed up great and is such a sweet boy. He is lower energy and just likes to chill and observe for the most part. He needs a family who is going to work at trying to get him playing and moving around to help keep him at a good weight. Bert is extremely food focused, with coming from a place where food was scarce. He needs a family who will portion feed him as he is very food focused and won’t think twice about polishing off the bowl whenever he has access to it. Bert can coexist with other cats (he maintains his independence a bit) with appropriate introductions. He has not lived directly with dogs in foster.
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV/parasites (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is the Adoptioj fee + TAX”
