Backpack came to TCPR from a hoarding situation and was initially the most timid one in the group. However after about a week in her foster home and lots of yummy treats, she decided the scared cat life wasn’t for her and became a social butterfly! She enjoys lap snuggles, lounging in sun spots around the house, and playing with her foster cat siblings. Backpack is a super great houseguest because she keeps herself busy but also loves attention from her humans when they’re available. She would do great in a home with other cats but would also be fine on her own. Backpack has also done great with dogs and young kids as well!
Backpack struggled with a persistent URI when she first came to rescue and it resulted in an eye injury. Her eye has healed but will have a scar/clouding for the rest of her life. This doesn’t limit her ability to live a happy, normal kitty life and doesn’t slow her down one bit!
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
