Meet Leah (aka Leah Pia) – Your Belly-Rub-Loving, Orange Angel Leah was rescued from a severe hoarding situation and living outside on a porch. Though hesitant at first, unsure about humans and indoor life, Leah slowly let her walls down and discovered that love feels really, really good. Leah adores belly rubs. Just stay clear of her lower belly—that’s her “do not disturb” zone, and she’s not shy about reminding you. She loves being held, especially football-style, and once she trusts you, she’ll let you cradle her with her belly toward the sky. Leah is not quite a lap cat yet, but if you give her some help getting cozy and keep the pets coming, she’ll stay and soak up all the love. Leah is also just starting to understand the magic of toys. She enjoys balls on tracks and catnip toys she can bat around herself. Wand toys are a little suspicious still, but she’s intrigued—soon enough, she’ll be flying after them. She does love to watch her bird videos on YouTube. Leah is still gaining confidence around strangers, so a quieter home would suit her best. She’ll need some time and a small room to start, but once she’s comfortable, her sweetness shines through. Leah adores other cats. Truly. Because of this, she must go to a home with a feline friend who can show her the ropes and return her affection.

Step 2. Apply Online. Twin Cities Pet Rescue has been helping animals since 2009. TCPR vision is a humane country in which animals are treated with compassion and respect. They have a large network of foster homes that help them save pets that mainly come from impound and shelters with high kill rates. Their teams and board are comprised of volunteers dedicating their free time, energy and compassion to these animals. Make sure to specify my name under the question, “animals interested in”.
