McScruff Is a very sweet boy. He had been making regular visits to someone’s yard to eat for awhile but was getting beaten up so badly by the other cats that the caregiver wanted to get him indoors to safety. When we got him, he had a bad abscess that needed to be surgically treated. Thankfully he has made a full recovery!
McScruff is extremely happy to be indoors and living a good life again. He is still a little uncertain of handling from time to time, but in general is a very sweet and loving boy. He seems to do okay with other cats but will need to go to a home with no young children. To our knowledge, he has not had any exposure to a dog.

Step 2. Connect with the rescue. This cat is from No Kitten Left Behind-MN. They are a small, volunteer-run, foster-based rescue managed by one dedicated person. To help streamline communication, use the subject line: Application Request for [Cat’s Name] at TCM. In the email body, include when you met the cat and why you’d like to adopt them.
Step 3. Wait for an application to be sent back to your request. Please allow at least 72 hours for a response. If you don’t hear back after that, send a follow-up email in case the original was missed. Email is the best way to get in touch and begin the adoption process.
