Baby Cakes and Bean came to us after their humans sadly passed away. The humans had initially adopted Baby Cakes from us a while back where she joined her fur sister Bean. With the loss of their humans, we of course wanted to keep the girls together so we happily accepted both (back) into the rescue.
Baby Cakes is a very affectionate girl. She adores human attention and loves to play a part in the daily routine. She will need a home that is willing to brush her long locs frequently to keep her looking her best. (She had developed matts which is why the vet shaved her belly .)
Bean is a very sweet girl who needs a little extra time to settle in. She is not a fan of change but appreciates human affection once she settles into a new environment. Both are very well mannered loving cats who just need a new start on life.
Baby Cakes and Bean greatly appreciate each other’s company and will need to go to the same home to live out their lives together. They would do okay with an older well-mannered child. We do not feel that they will do well with a dog.

Step 2. Connect with the rescue. This cat is from No Kitten Left Behind-MN. They are a small, volunteer-run, foster-based rescue managed by one dedicated person. If you’re interested in adopting after meeting a cat, please email [email protected] to request an application. To help streamline communication, use the subject line: Application Request for [Cat’s Name] at TCM. In the email body, include when you met the cat and why you’d like to adopt them.
Step 3. Wait for an application to be sent back to your request. Please allow at least 72 hours for a response. If you don’t hear back after that, send a follow-up email in case the original was missed. Email is the best way to get in touch and begin the adoption process.
