Ember is the sweetest most affectionate boy. He was rescued by a kind soul when she heard that he had been hit by a car and the owners were not willing to seek vet care for him. It was determined that he had a shattered pelvis and broken leg and was unable to walk. Fortunately, the vet determined that the bones were still aligned properly and could heal on their own without surgery. His guardian angel took great care of him and nurtured him back to health. After weeks of care, he slowly regained his ability to use his back legs. Ember had an amazing will to live and was soon back to full mobility! He has permanent hair loss in the area where he had the injury and has a little uniqueness to his gait when he walks. This just makes him all the more special!
Ember absolutely adores human attention. He is the best lap warmer and shoulder rider around. He still has a lot of kitten energy and will need a home with someone who can keep up to this energy. He greatly appreciates being around other cats and will do best in a home with another feline to form a life long bond. Due to his past injuries, Ember will need to be a strictly indoor cat in a quiet home with no young children. He has even been known to get along with a cat friendly dog.

Step 3. Wait for an application to be sent back to your request. Please allow at least 72 hours for a response. If you don’t hear back after that, send a follow-up email in case the original was missed. Email is the best way to get in touch and begin the adoption process.
