Smokey Bear Is the sweetest, biggest teddy bear. He was found as a stray, wandering the street in rural MN unsure why he had been abandoned.
Smokey Bear is very affectionate. So much so, he will strategically place himself in your path to get more pets and attention. He also has a lot of energy and will need an outlet for his play energy. He is a very independent boy and would do well as an only kitty in his new home. He will however need to be in a home where he will get ample attention and cuddles. He can be a little crafty at doors, so he will not do well with young children in the home. To our knowledge, he has not been around a dog.

Step 2. Connect with the rescue. This cat is from No Kitten Left Behind-MN. They are a small, volunteer-run, foster-based rescue managed by one dedicated person. If you’re interested in adopting after meeting a cat, please email [email protected] to request an application. To help streamline communication, use the subject line: Application Request for [Cat’s Name] at TCM. In the email body, include when you met the cat and why you’d like to adopt them.
Step 3. Wait for an application to be sent back to your request. Please allow at least 72 hours for a response. If you don’t hear back after that, send a follow-up email in case the original was missed. Email is the best way to get in touch and begin the adoption process.
