Hello! My name is One-Eared-Jack, know why? Well when this nice lady found me I was missing half my ear, most likely from frostbite I guess. It doesn’t bother me, in fact I think I look quite charming, don’t you agree? I was part of a colony where someone saved the kittens but left my adult family behind. Fortulanty the nice lady took us in but didn’t have the resources to find us new homes, that’s how we ended up at HTTR. My foster says I’m a pretty fun guy who is hardy and playful. I enjoy scratches and lots of pets. A home with older children is best because if I get handled roughly or too fast I get overwhelmed and will give a big swat. I hear not many little kiddos understand why I’d do that so teenagers only please. I have been in a home with other cats and calm dogs but would be just fine by myself. As you can see I am filled with missing hair, scars, and scratches from having to protect myself so please no bullies or anyone ready for a fight. Being an indoor cat will make me very happy but I might enjoy a walk after you spend a lot of time harness training me. If not, no worries, I’m just ready to find my forever family!

1E Jack has been neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225 includes tax.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor

If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.

If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
