Kira was spotted by a fellow Minnesota trapper at Bloomington Animal Humane. She was extremely shy without a rescue to tag her. HTTR took Kira into foster care as soon as she could be released. It took some time for Kira to come around. She refused to eat and did a lot of hiding so her new family will need to be very patient, kind, and allow her the time she needs. Kira will thrive best in a quiet home. If there is enough space she can certainly share with a feline friend too but would also be just fine on her own. Kira loves getting scratches behind her ears and smelly fish pate. Yes, she quickly comes out of hiding when you start waving salmon by her nose! Seeking a sweet calm polite young lady? Here she is!
Kira has been spayed, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225 includes tax.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
