Arrived at Cafe:
Well, Hello There! My name is Gilda and I’m known to be a great all-around kitty. I was found as a stray in a rural Wisconsin community that no one reclaimed. It was a cold October night so needless to say I was grateful someone picked me up and brought me to safety. I’m what my foster calls a perfect cat. I am affectionate, sweet, and playful with a healthy dash of independence. I really enjoy being with other cats. The rescue had a young kitten named Stitches who was very depressed being by himself so I found myself being his surrogate mom. I had no problem with him literally lying on top of me for comfort. You could say I liked it too. Now I share a room with many other cats where you can find me playing with them or even entertaining myself. At this time my foster is unsure of how I’d do with dogs but if they are calm and do not chase me, they feel I would be just fine. My best life would be indoors only, so no adventures, but with other felines and a family who embraces spending time with me. So, if you’re looking for that well rounded “great cat” check me out! I can’t wait to finally find my forever home to enjoy!
Gilda has been spayed, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225 includes tax.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
