“Just one look and I fell so hard in love with you…” Is playing in your head right now isn’t it as you watch me rolling around on the couch or cat trees. My name is Merlot and I am one smooth operator. Handsome- check. Soft- check. Sweet- check. And that is just the start of it. A family contacted HTTR for TNR but instead of myself and the other adult staying behind we stayed with our foster to be adopted into a home. At first I wasn’t overly friendly, I actually was terrified being in a new place. But once I noticed the other cats from my colony warming up, so did I and now I LOVE being an indoor only boy! In my forever home, I’d love another kitty friend just about anyone will do but bullies. Dogs should be okay since they were at my outdoor home and respectful children, sign me up! I bet that song started playing again in your head huh? It’s no wonder since I am a really great cat all around. So come on over, pet my belly, and let’s go home!
Merlot has been neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225 includes tax.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
