My name is Annapurna and I’m a handsome ginger and white boy. Yes, I’m a boy even though my friends and family know me as Anna. I’m told it’s a funny story, although I don’t find the humor in it. I was born in the rescue after my mama was saved as a stray when she was very pregnant. The nice family who took me in mistakenly thought I was a girl and didn’t realize their mistake until it was time for me to get altered. I’m told the doctor was prepared to give me a spay and then learned they needed to neuter me instead. By that time, the name Annapurna (or Anna for short) had already stuck. Really though, I don’t mind at all if you’d like to give me a nice new name to go along with a nice new home and loving family.
I am a shy little boy and you’ll have to go out of your way to make friends with me, but trust me, it’s worth it. I’m really nice and I promise that my favorite thing to do is snuggle up for a nap while you hold me or I rest on your lap. Just give me a chance and you’ll fall in love. I was the unique one of my litter that was born with the “manx” gene, which basically caused me to be born without a tail. I think it makes me exceptionally cute.
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
