This cutie came into animal care and control as a stray looking pretty unthrifty but was eating great and seemed to be thriving here at the shelter. To be safe, we ran some bloodwork and he seemed to be fighting off an infection that we helped him beat with antibiotics. Johnny Black has spent a lot of time recently either in his kennel at the shelter or a cat condo with another kitty pal of his, so being able to run free is a welcome change for this tiny character. Johnny is a bit cautious at first, but also very curious. So, when he thinks no one is looking, or other cats he’s unfamiliar with aren’t near, he’ll venture out to explore and roll around with a catnip toy (which is very cute to see). Johnny is still a young boy with kitty energy who’s ready to pounce on someone’s lap after getting to know you. Once this boy warms up to you he’s truly a love bug.
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
