Hey There! I wanted to make sure you saw me! I may be at your feet, or in a cubby or watching you from afar. I can be a tad shy at first but and a real charmer! My name is Shelby and I am a very sweet girl! In the summer of 2023 I was transferred to HTTR from another organization that was moving out of state. For the past year I lived in a tiny house with seven other cats. Unfortunately HTTR did not get to hear about my past or how I got there but that’s okay! All you need to know is I am sweet and needy. My foster says I am purrrfect girl and would make just about any family happy! I’ve been with other cats and enjoy their company. Since my sisters left I’ve been lonely. We were bonded but certainly snuggled. My energy level is very mild. You don’t find me doing a lot of playing but never call me late for pets and cuddles. Dogs are in my foster home but leave me alone so maybe it won’t be bad to share a space. My personality says I would be okay with respectful children that will be nice to me. Keep in mind I have claws and can scratch so keep my nails trimmed and children understand I’m just being a cat. So see, I’d make a great companion for just about anyone who enjoys me being a part of the family! If you think you’re the one, complete an application today so we can go home and enjoy each other!

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
