A meow, meow here and a meow meow there! Hey! Over here! My name is Apollo and I am one of the coolest cats you will ever meet! Where to even start about me!? I was part of a massive TNR project in Long Prairie MN the summer of 2023. The volunteers loved me and said I was a favorite. It was hard to see me go. So I spent the past few months getting ready to find my forever home. During that time HTTR understood why I was so loved. My foster mom says I am a gentle giant gooey land hippo. You can handle me like a ragdoll and I’ll love every minute being touched. It’s like I am trying to catch up on all the love I missed out on for the first 5 years of my life. I talk NON-STOP! Like really! Please keep this in mind that some might say it would get annoying so consider this to be a fair warning. LOL! She also describes me as being very silly- some days she will find me sleeping on my back. I have been around other cats and should have another feline buddy or two or three or 10 to hang out with in my forever home. Kids!? Sure! Now I am a BIG boy so please make sure little children do not carry me around in weird ways- even though I wont do anything some day it might hurt and the only way I could tell them is how animals do. There are dogs in my foster home that I am fine with. They are a tad too busy for me and I have felt cornered at times which made me sad. If you have dogs, I’ll be okay with that but they should be lazy hippos like me. Have I convinced you yet that I’m just the best!? Come on over an meet me, my foster mom tells me I wont be searching for my forever family long!
Just to Review:
🐱Living Arrangements: Indoor only. But an enclosed catio might be cool.
🐱Good w/ Cats: Yes please! I love everyone! I’d be lonely without a friend.
🐱Good w/ Dogs: I could take ‘em or leave ‘em but will need a slow introduction! No chasing or bullies please!
🐱Good w/children: Sure! I do not have a lot of experience but my personality screams I’ll be their BFF!
🐱Other: I am incredibly needy and the BIGGEST/LOUDEST talker you’ll ever meet!
Apollo has been neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225 which includes tax.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
