Get ready to be LOVED! Want to come home to someone who will love you unconditionally? That’s me! Want to have someone who will remind you every day is a good day? That’s me too! Oh, looking for that someone who will be there for you today, tomorrow, and the future? You guessed it, that’s me! Hey there, my name is Maxton and I am such a “Feel Good” friend! I was helped by a wonderful lady who does TNR in northern Minnesota. I was unable to go back to where I came from and in all honesty it is a good thing. I was ready to find a new home which is how I ended up at HTTR. The rescue did not get a lot of my history but it doesn’t matter because my foster family can tell you everything you want to know about how AMAZING I am! At first I was a tad shy and hid. But seriously, it was a new place and I needed to make sure I was safe. Not long after I came out of my shell and demanded attention! I have zero regard for personal space so yes, your face and head are free game! I will rub your face, if you rub mine. Work from home? No problem, I will lie across your work to remind you to take a break. Okay let’s be real, I will be on your work all the time. I AM a very special boy who really needs a family that wants me there and wants to spend time with me. In my previous home I lived with other cats, so a feline friend would be great if you just have to leave the house. But if you think you will be a “homebody” for the next 15+ years I could be okay by myself too. My foster family had teenagers around and yes, I made sure they knew I needed attention. There have not been many children in my life but with respect and responsibility I bet I would be an okay friend for them. Keep in mind, your space is my space! So if you are looking for that one true love, set aside the frog and come give this prince charming a kiss!

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
