No. We work with several amazing rescue partners who all take cats though! If you are looking to re-home your cat check out bittykittybrigade.org/rescues/ for a list of a bunch of local rescues in Minnesota who may be able to help you out!
If you would like to have your next party at The Cafe Meow we suggest making an Exclusive Reservation which means the cat lounge is only for you and your guests. Preorder cat cupcakes to go with your event by emailing us! Please keep noisemakers, balloons, or confetti at home, as they can be harmful to the cats.
If you are interested in adopting a cat that is at The Cafe Meow. Please see the cat’s biography page. There is information on how to reach out to the rescue partner who provided the cat. You can send them an email and request an application. All adoption fees go directly to our rescue partners!
You do not need to book your visit, but if you do not book we cannot guarantee your spot in the lounge. During the week days, it is easier to get same-day tickets. On the weekends we are busier and they are bought up quickly! If you would like to walk-in we suggest calling ahead and asking about current availability.
We have two separate spaces: a cafe and a cat lounge. You can come hang out at the cafe like any other cafe. We serve quality local coffee, tea, and treats. The cat lounge is a paid experience and houses up to 30 rescue cats.
No, but you can possibly take one home by adopting through one of our local rescue partners. All the cats at the cafe are up for adoption. There are no same day adoptions.
Children 6 years old and younger can visit during exclusive reservations only. Anyone 7 and older is allowed in anytime but adult supervision required (1 adult per kid 7-10 years) and we do have a maximum amount of kid admissions allowed each hour, so we suggest booking online if you are bringing kids 7-10 years old.

Yes, please do! You do not need to be looking to adopt! Make us your weekly spot for a delicious hot or iced specialty drink and a lap cat! Our coffee is as delicious as our cats are delightful. Instead of stopping in to the local Starbucks, stop in here for your daily caffeine fix and support rescue cats.
You are choosing to enter a room full of cats, therefore we are not liable for any cat-related injuries which can occur. If you do get scratched, you should report it to an employee immediately. They can provide you with directions to the restroom and a band-aid.
Please email us: your first and last name, the date and time you would like to book, how many people to book for, your gift card number. Please check availability first and book at least 1 day in advance and 1 week if it is a party.
All service animals will have to be left on the cafe side. They should be left with someone who can take care of them on the cafe side while the owner goes into the cat room. Although your service animal may be good with cats, the cats at the cafe may have a different reaction.

Our rescue cats are selected for the cafe by our rescue partners. They are selected because the rescue believes they will do well in the cafe environment and they will hopefully get adopted quicker which allows the rescues to help more animals sooner.
