Oh Bessie! Several years back a family had their outdoor cats spayed and neutered but for some reason Bessie did not! That means she has had about two litters for the past several years and her body was getting tired. In April the family called the veterinary clinic we work with to have her euthanized because they didn’t want to deal with her or kittens anymore! Wait, WHAT?! The clinic quickly called HTTR and took her in without hesitation. Bessie is a lovely lady looking forward to a kitten free senior retirement. She enjoys cuddling with feline friends, but needs a bit of time to warm up. Bessie is a very relaxed gal who really loves her people and relaxation time. She could lose some weight to help her get around better which we feel will happen once she is in her home to roam! Bessie also did not have many teeth left, and had some removed, but can eat crunchy food with ease. We are excited to see this sweet gentle girl living the life she deserves!

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
