Callie and Lucy came from a farm in rural Minnesota. They were both sick with an upper respiratory infection and in need of a little socialization. They did well with the transition to indoor life and slowly learned that humans aren’t all bad – especially when food was involved! Lucy had more issues with the upper respiratory infection which delayed her readiness for a furrever home. After many treatments with antibiotics and holistic supplements, she is finally ready for a furrever home!
We believe the girls are sisters and have developed a bond with a little sibling-rivalry mixed in . As calicos, we expect nothing less! They are shy in new situations but appreciate pets and cuddles once they have settled in. Lucy is a little more social than her sister – but Callie isn’t far behind. They will seek out attention and won’t mind if you happen to offer a treat or two. They love to play with toys and chase them around the hardwood floor. They are also quite fond on their cat tree and window perch where they can bask in the sun and watch the wildlife outside.
Due to their shyness, we feel that they would not do well with children or dogs. They will need a quiet and patient home initially but will soon show their loving and affectionate side.
