No, you are not seeing double but I sure do look like my sister Sloane! I’m  just like her in many ways. I’m shy at first but will warm up with time sometimes I may even hiss but please don’t take it personally. I terribly shed too. Did I mention I shed?! My new family will need to be okay with this and brushing me often. Some think this is a chore but in fact it’s a great way for us to bond! I came to the rescue with my brother Ferris and sis Sloane who were born into an outdoor colony. The adults in the group were spayed/neutered and returned because they enjoyed a life outdoors, free, and not being handled by people. The lady who was doing the TNR had us at 3 months old and thought maybe we could come around to be indoor companions. After 2 foster homes and 14 weeks later I think I am ready! I am a VERY shy, insecure boy that still has a long way to go in trusting people but once I do, I will be your little boy! Don’t count on me to be a social butterfly but rather a silly playmate. This means my forever home should be quiet with no young children. In my foster home there are dogs that may smell me but never chase and I NEED a feline play friend. I will find my one special person and enjoy pets from them. Just a hin if you put your hand down for me to smell it, that seems to help. I really love getting neck scratches. You can give me bribes of playtime with string toys and canned food. The greatest way for me to open up is finding a confident furry companion that will live life as an indoor only kitty in a quiet home. So if you’re willing to be patient and maybe invest in black furniture let’s go!

Ferris has been neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225 includes tax.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor

If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.

If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
