Hi there, I’m Cherrie! I came to rescue after being found on the side of the road, abandoned, in a kennel carrier marked “Free”. I had some bad matting of my fur near my tail, so the nice people at Ruff Start gave me a cool haircut to make me feel much better! Despite how sad my start to my new life was, I am a plump and pleasant gal who is all about my humans. My favorite things to do are nap and roll around getting belly and booty scratches! I don’t really play with toys much, I just like to lay on top of them – unless you have a cat wand. I LOVE to play with cat wands! I’ve been hanging out with my cat foster siblings lately and they’re pretty cool, although I keep to myself usually when we are out and about together. When I first saw the dog, he kind of scared me, but I have since become a little more intrigued by his presence. My ideal home environment would be one that concentrates on me getting a bit healthier in the body weight department as well as gives me plenty of loving and areas to lounge!
