Hello There! My name is Eugene and my foster says I am a “stud”. See I used to frequent a neighborhood in Cokato, MN as a stray. Several groups of people had been trapping colony cats over the years, but when I was trapped they felt I was someone’s cat. Little did they know I was an intake male with no home that helped provide the neighborhood with more and more and more kittens. In May of 2022 the caregiver who I found myself safest with was able to pick me up and place me in a carrier. Oh, I just adored her and she adored me. She provided food and shelter for the free-roaming cats of the neighborhood. But the day I was picked up she said it was enough and I deserved an indoor home. I am a hardy boy that loves life. My days are spent being up high on comfy things and sunning myself. I no longer wish to be outdoors but the breeze through the window is just enough for me. In my foster home I have been with other cats and around dogs, so either is just fine by me. I’d love to have a feline companion in my new home but could be okay without one. Just know you’d be on call when I want affection! Highrise to cottage my home won’t matter as long as I have someone to love me for the rest of my life! I promise to return it too!

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
