If you don’t like cats on your counters, stop right here and quit reading! Fish & Chips are a very active young couple of kitties that like to check out EVERYTHING you’re doing. Not only will they jump up on the counters, they LOVE playing with water. They have to inspect everything – the way you brush your teeth, the water left behind after you shower. Fish is more fearless and will stand a foot away from the vacuum watching what you do. Being that he is more curious than Chips, he is also a flight risk. Any chance he gets, he will slip past you. Please make sure to keep him inside at all times. Consider a catio for them and an AirTag collar if you have an iPhone.
Fish & Chips are siblings from a colony in Minneapolis. Chips was to be TNRd. Before we returned her, we caught the last cat – a male kitten wondering where his family had gone. We put him in a kennel next to Chips when they started reaching for each other and playing through the kennels. It was obvious they were a bonded brother/sister duo that needed to stay together! Chips just needed a bit of socialization, and Fish was the answer!
Fish & Chips have boundless energy!! They love playing with each other and toys all day long. They especially like playing with you with wand toys. They also love ball tracks, toy mice, and ping pong balls. When they’re done jumping off the walls, they like to snuggle up with you and purr, especially Chips, who likes to sleep touching you. Chips is more on the shy side, but with some TLC and treats, she’ll be your snugglebug, even more than Fish. They are a special pair of kitties that are looking for their patient, playful forever home.
Both have been neutered/spayed, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $400+ tax.
