Meet Grundeltoed, affectionately known as Toedy, an adorable black and white kitten with extra toes on his front feet, inherited from his polydactyl mama, Thumbelina. Named after the character Grundel Toad from the movie “Thumbelina,” but with a twist to honor his unique paws, Toedy’s story is one of resilience and joy.
Toedy, along with his two siblings and mom, was rescued from a challenging situation in a hoarding house in Minneapolis, where they lived among many other felines. Thanks to a kind woman, this loving family made their way into a caring rescue environment, where they’ve begun to thrive. Toedy is a sweet and affectionate kitten who melts into a puddle of purrs when picked up. He adores being petted and will reward you with his loving nature. Full of energy and unbridled joy, Toedy turns every day into an adventure. One of his favorite activities is wrestling inside the kitten tunnel with his brother, Prince Cornelius. Their foster mom often watches the tunnel roll across the room with the kittens playing inside it, a delightful sight that showcases their playful spirits.
Sneak attacks on his mama’s tail are another favorite pastime, and Thumbelina is a good sport, often joining in on the kitten antics herself. Toedy’s playful and joyful nature makes him a wonderful companion. Toedy would thrive in a home with one of his siblings or his mama so he can have a lifelong playmate. He needs patient humans who will give him time to adjust to his new environment and provide him with the love and care he deserves. Because of his rough start, Toedy would prefer a home without young children or dogs, ensuring he feels safe and secure.
If you’re looking for a loving and playful addition to your family, Toedy is ready to bring his boundless joy and affection into your home. Come meet this special little guy and see the happiness he’s ready to share!
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
