Once upon a time cats like us would be euthanized. See we came from a colony where the caregiver didn’t want us back. Now we were super nervous but still young and curious enough to hopefully come around. It’s taken a while but we know the right family is out there for us! Gumdrop & Lollipop at your service! We are sisters who have really learned to depend on each other so at this time we are considered bonded. Gumdrop is on the shyer side, lacks confidence, and is unsure of new situations. Lollipop is also shy but much more outgoing and can be vocal! We are both super silly, love to play and cuddle with other kitty friends. At one point we were with several other black cats and you couldn’t tell where one started and the other ended. We just mushed into each other. Our foster is not sure what our personalities hold in our forever home. We have come so far and with the bribe of canned food we are enjoying neck scratches and butt rubs! Our new family should not have expectations of us being super social cuddle bugs but rather enjoy the company of two independent girls who can make you laugh. We’d be happy to share a home with other animals, dogs included! Children should be 12 years or older since we are not cuddly or enjoy being picked up. An indoor only life is what we need, if you have cat trees, shelves, and high places for us to go even better! We can’t wait to show off our acrobatic skills!

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
