Almost three years… that is the time I have been waiting in rescue! Hi! My name is Helena, let me tell you about myself. I lived on a farm where my caregiver had passed away. It was a large colony mixed with altered and unaltered, the family had been trying to get our reproduction under control. After we were altered, not all of us were welcome back, regardless if we wanted to be an outdoor or indoor cat. I was VERY reserved for quite some time and my foster was worried about me. HTTR focuses on TNR adoptions were next to none. Now it’s MY turn to come to The Cafe Meow to find my forever family once and for all! I hear a home of my own will be wonderful! I’m so excited! My purrfect family would be a bit on the calmer side. New experiences make me a tad nervous with new situations and chaos. My foster home has dogs and cats which I enjoyed sharing the space with and would like at least a feline friend. In the past 3 years, I have not spent much time with children but respectful kiddos over 12 should be just fine.
Just to Review:
🐱Living Arrangements: Indoor only. No adventures for me, too scary
🐱Good w/ Cats: Yes! I will need at least one kitty friend
🐱Good w/ Dogs: I’m good with nice dogs. No chasing please!
🐱Good w/children: Not much experience but respectful 12 years might be okay
🐱Other: I’m a middle age lady with GREAT teeth, but keep an eye on my mouth as I age and form normal “aging” health changes.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
