This sweet boy was found as a stray in rural Minnesota. An older couple took him in after seeing that he needed vet care. It was discovered that not only did he need to be neutered, he required hernia repair surgery (his belly hair is slowly growing back). During the exam, they also found that he had been shot in the jaw and was given a dental. Sadly, the couple’s resident cat did not appreciate another cat in the house so they gave him away. He ended up going to two other failed homes before making his way to the rescue – by no fault of anything this sweet boy has done. Houston is a wonderful cat with a lot of love to give. He may take a little bit to warm up to his human but truly appreciates attention and cuddle time. He seems to do just fine with other cats and would do well with an older well-mannered child. We do not know how he would be with a dog.

Houston has been neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative) and microchipped. His adoption fee is $230+tax.
