Jamaica came to us with her four older kittens during the cold of winter. A kind neighbor had supplied shelter and food but was concerned for their welfare. We had to live trap the kittens but momma was comfortable walking into the human’s house on her own to wait for our arrival.
Since she has been in rescue, she has had quite the story to tell. We discovered that she was pregnant so we made her comfortable in her foster home in anticipation for the new fur babies. Soon after, she became very sick and prematurely had the kittens – to our dismay, none survived. As heartbroken as we were, we knew the best thing was to finder her a wonderful home where she can get smothered in love and spoiled rotten!
Jamaica is a very sweet girl who adores attention. She can be quite silly and entertaining. She is easy going and enjoys her play time especially if catnip is involved. She appreciates getting pets and likes to be involved in whatever her human is doing.
She would do well with a feline buddy or possibly even on her own provided her human is not gone for too long. She may do well with an older well-mannered child but we are not sure how she would be with a dog.
Jamaica has been spayed, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative) and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225+tax.
