JB (front in image) came to us (NKLB) from a residence north of the Cities along with her mother, Peanut (behind JB in image). JB had a litter of kittens of her own and we needed to get the cat family inside where it was safer for her to raise her kittens. Now that JB’s kittens are grown and into their own homes, it is time for JB to find a home to call her own.
JB can be a little shy at first but once she settles into her new environment, she will seek out attention. She especially likes attention when it is dinnertime. She likes getting pets and will even tolerate being held. She likes to play with her mother, Peanut, and with the other cats in the foster home. Because of this, we would like to see JB go to a home with Peanut or into a home with another friendly kitty to keep her company. She has never been around dogs so we are unsure how she would be with them.
Since JB is a little more shy, she would probably do best in a home with no young children.
