Hi there. I’m Jorge, a playful, yet shy boy with a lot of love to give! I used to roam the streets at night, trying to survive on my own. Life was scary. Now, I’m safe and looking for a home where I can feel secure and loved. Once I settle into a new place, I can be fairly active. I love napping, and chasing feathery toys up cat towers. I haven’t met any dogs yet, but absolutely adore other cats and dream of having a feline friend to share cozy naps and playtime with.
I’m well known for my gentle, playful nature and genuine efforts to befriend all the kitties. I may be a little apprehensive at first seeking pets and physical affection from people, but actually love attention. Once we get to know each other, I may even show you my silky-soft belly. I’m also quite smart and good at solving treat puzzles! The promise of a tasty snack or the company of a friendly feline gives me courage. When things get too noisy or new people come around, I tend to quietly disappear like a ninja. I bond deeply with those that give me attention and thrive on gentle loving affection.
I need a calm environment with an owner that understands my scaredy cat ways and at least one other cat companion. I’ll be happiest starting out in a quiet room, spending quality time with you while I get my bearings. If you’re looking for a sweet, silky soft black cat who enjoys playtime, treats, and the company of other cats, I could be your purrfect match. Let’s meet and see if it’s meant to be!
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
