Joseph is a super mellow dude kitty. He has a very relaxed personality and is looking for the same in his furever family. He loves to lay by your side and stretch out his long limbs, melting into a malleable puddle of orange goodness. He is a master baker of air biscuits and has a deep purr that sounds like rolling thunder in the distance. He is so happy to be indoors and is looking forward to enjoying the upcoming winter while warm inside. Joseph aka Joey was found in the middle of last winter living outside in Minneapolis on Lake Street. A kind woman started feeding him in her backyard. Through this kindness and attention he was able to survive the harsh weather. His paws are hardened from living on the streets, but his heart is not and he’s ready to share all of the love he’s been saving up with the lucky person or family that adopts him.
Joseph is still learning about indoor living, but he has taken to it quickly. He likes toy mice and chasing balls around the house. He is in the process of figuring out the wand toy; he thinks he’s supposed to catch the stick instead of what’s on the other end of it! He’ll understand it soon. He is also starting to enjoy the magic of both catnip and lickable tube treats. He is very laid back, but it might take him a little bit to warm up to new people as he’s had a lot of change in his life recently. While he loves being pet he can be scared at first when he’s picked up. He would appreciate it if his person has patience with him while he adjusts to his new life, but he will become your best friend and kitty soulmate in no time. Come and say hi to Joseph today!
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
