Matilda is a very beautiful gal who came to us from rural MN in hopes of finding her forever home. She is a tad shy at first but settles in pretty quickly to new environments. She loves to be around her human to see what is going on. She will rub against your leg and appreciates getting lots of pets. She tolerates being held for short periods of time and will even take advantage of an open lap to get more love.
She is a very gentle gal but still has her kitten energy. She adores string toys and anything with catnip. She does have a more independent personality so sometimes she just wants to be on her own and expects things to be on her terms.
Matilda did well in her foster home with the resident cat. She did want to play more than the other kitty but she seemed to do just fine with entertaining herself. She would do well in a home with another young cat or possibly even as an only kitty as long as her human is home a lot to keep her company.
We feel that she would probably do ok in a home with older children. We are not sure how she would be around a dog. Matilda has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested for FeLV/FIV (negative). Her adoption fee is $150+tax
