Motley is an extremely sweet and gentle kitty. He was born outside in South Minneapolis. He lived on the streets for several months until a kind man brought him inside just in time before the weather turned cold. Motley is learning about indoor living and beginning to come out of his shell. He is on the meeker side and would usually let the more dominant outdoor cats get all of the attention of their caregiver. Now that he’s indoors he is soaking up all of the loving he can get. He enjoys being pet and is getting more and more comfortable with being picked up and held as the days go on. While Motley is a little shy still one thing he isn’t shy about is telling you what he wants. He is quite the talker once you get to know him. When meeting new people he can be on the introverted side, but just give him some time to get comfortable and then he will tell you all about the things you’re doing incorrectly like not getting his dinner ready fast enough or not giving him enough attention and pets. Motley is also learning to play and would love for his human family to teach him about wand toys and toy mice. He would enjoy finding a furever home with another friendly kitty that won’t be too overbearing as he’s used to being surrounded by other cats. His new family will need to be patient with him as he adjusts to his new home, but will be rewarded with unconditional love soon after.
