This dashing black-and-white gentleman, named after the magical character in the musical Cats, is as enchanting as his namesake. Rescued from a hoarding house with over 30 other cats, Mr. Mistoffelees has a sweet and gentle soul despite his rough beginnings. He’s a shy boy at heart, but with patience, love, and the help of a feline friend, he transforms into a devoted companion.
The key to Mr. Mistoffelees’ heart? Treats, playtime, and, most importantly, another cat to show him the ropes. He absolutely adores other cats and shares a special bond with Carlisle, his orange cousin who also came from the same hoarding house. Though they hadn’t seen each other for over six months, the moment they reunited in their foster home, it was like they’d never been apart. Carlisle helped Mr. Mistoffelees find his confidence, teaching him that humans aren’t so bad after all.
While initially reserved, Mr. Mistoffelees becomes a purring puddle of love when you scratch between his shoulder blades. He’s also a big fan of cat treats—especially lickable ones—and might nudge Carlisle out of the way to ensure he gets his fair share.
Mr. Mistoffelees would thrive in a calm home with a patient adopter willing to let him blossom at his own pace. He must have another feline friend, and he’d be over the moon to be adopted with his best buddy, Carlisle. Together, they’re the perfect blend of playful mischief and snuggly sweetness.
