Meet Ms. Persnickety – The Sassy, Sweet, and Slightly Spoiled Princess

Ms. Persnickety has earned her name in the best way possible—she knows exactly what she wants, and she isn’t afraid to tell you! This young orange beauty was rescued from a hoarding situation where she was surviving on a porch with 20 other cats in winter.

At first, she wasn’t so sure about people. Trust didn’t come easy after her rough start, but once she decided humans were pretty great, her tough exterior melted away into the snuggly, talkative princess she was always meant to be. Now, Persnicks (as her foster affectionately calls her) will march right up to greet you when you come home, meowing her tiny, squeaky hellos. She’s got a lot to say, and she loves when you meow back at her!

One of her most charming features is her windshield wiper tail—always swaying back and forth, like she’s deep in thought about her next adventure. Speaking of adventures, Persnickety loves a good “follow me” game. She’ll lead you all around the house, stopping at her favorite spots for pets before trotting off again, encouraging you to keep up with her dramatic little chirps.

Affection is a must in Persnickety’s world. She adores being held (especially football-style or over your shoulder) and will reward you with happy purrs as long as you keep the pets coming.  Persnickety loves wand toys and other cats!  She would do best in a home withat  least one other friendly feline companion to show her the ropes and keep her company.

While she’s a confident girl now, Persnickety still needs a little time to warm up to new environments and people. A quieter home without young children would be best for her, and she’d do well starting off in a single room before exploring the whole house at her own pace.
