Kittens? Who needs them right?! Messy, naughty, crazy! Ick! Sign me up for some playtime, sunshine, dinner, then cuddles in bed! Oh wait… I guess I should confess, I am a kitten but stuck in this senior cat’s body! Do not let my age fool you, I AM crazy like a kitten! I chirp, I play, I cuddle, I’m needy, I’m silly, and I give kisses! They call me Nikki around here- You may have seen my sister at the cafe, Baby. Just to let you know I’m the better sister- lol! I was born to a lady who moved in shortly with her family. There was no room for us indoors so they built kennels in their barn. That’s where we’ve been in the past 8+ years with my sisters. The family was moving so we found our way to HTTR. I am the purrfect package. Sweet, silly, affectionate, and can keep myself busy with a dash of calmness. My personality is not a reflection of my prior life. I have had teeth removed and 2 dentals, I had mammary masses removed from my neck to my tail, no one thought I would survive so I went into hospice care. Then BOOM! No cancer and I’m up to my old tricks again. As you can see I am not ready to retire! In foster I had many friends, so it would be important I remain with a feline buddy. I used to be kennel mates with a cat named Athena. She is tons (yes she’s a chonk) of fun. We fought like sisters then an hour later you’d see us curled tightly in a hammock together. I do not need to be adopted with her but definitely someone who isn’t a bully but rather a lover! Okay, they will need to be ready to play too! Because I’m a goof, kids may not understand I am still fragile so a home with no or older children would be best. Please don’t let my age concern you, I just had a dental and a clean bill of health. I’m ready for another 10+ years of living! In my new home I could dig an enclosed catio, but no outdoor adventures please. I lived outdoors but was confined. In concussion, I am SO ready to find my family! Let’s give each other the best years we’ve got together.
Just to Review:
🐱Living Arrangements: Indoor only. But an enclosed catio would be cool.
🐱Good w/ Cats: Yes please, but no bullies friends.
🐱Good w/ Dogs: Could take ‘em or leave ‘em! NO chasing please!
🐱Good w/children: Not much experience but over 16 might be okay
🐱Other: Just senior things to keep an eye on like arthritis

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
