Excuse me please, I was wondering how you feel about a “parrot” being up for adoption here at the cafe? Okay, fine I may not look like a bird but you may find me perched on shoulders more than I am on the ground. My name is Nutty Butter and I showed up as a stray in a very rural Wisconsin home. I was desperately looking for a safe warm place because it just happened to be the week with snow and below zero temperatures. No one claimed me so I got “fixed up” at the vet and into foster. I am obsessed with people ! See I am pretty needy when it comes to affection but also just as laid back. Because of my personality it will be important my new family is home a lot. If not, like any other needy pet, my boredom may turn into naughty behaviors. A signature move of mine is jumping and perching on shoulders. At this point in my life it will NOT be “taught” out of me so my forever family must embrace this goofy behavior! So if you are looking for a sweet, needy, cuddly, loving, fluffy parrot who will adore your every move, I am your guy!

🐱Living Arrangements: Indoor only. I was pretty shy and nervous outside
🐱Good w/ Cats: I can have another feline friend or do just fine on my own
🐱Good w/ Dogs: Possibly fine with proper introductions- No chasing please!
🐱Good w/children: I am easy going BUT my claws will hurt when I jump on littles so BEWARE before bringing me home to children.
🐱Other: Jumping and perching on shoulders. I am a needy NEEDY boy!

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
