Pumpkin and Potato may have come from different backgrounds, but they are like two peas in a pod. Both had very sad beginnings to their lives but have now become besties!
Pumpkin came from a small colony of cats when the caregiver had noticed that she had a severe rectal prolapse. The poor sweet kitten was rushed to the vet who worked some magic and got Pumpkin back to health!
Potato was found outside an apartment complex extremely emaciated. We had tried to grab him but he was too thin for us even to grab! He was cautious of humans but with a little encouragement , we were able to persuade him to go in a carrier for food.
Both kittens took some time to realize that they were finally safe. After a little rest and recovery, we paired them up and the bond began! They soon were wrestling and chasing each other, happily playing with ever toy in sight! They also adore their hammock and have no problem sharing for nap time.
Pumpkin & Potato are both shy in new situations and will need a quiet and patient home. Once comfy in their environment, they will soon show their adorable purrsonalities and welcome attention and pets. Potato is the most confident and loves lap and cuddle time. Pumpkin is slowing getting there too! This bonded duo will need to be adopted together. Due to their shyness, they will need to be in a home with no children or dogs.
Both have been fixed, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative) and microchipped.
