Hello! My name is Rivers, and I am at TCM with my 3 siblings Cinder, Cheerio, Nora and who is believed to be my dad Merlot. We came from a home where we were supposed to be TNR’s but the caregiver said she didn’t want us any more. It’s a bummer not to be wanted. But it’s okay, I found out how wonderful life can be indoors. My perfect home will be as an indoor only kitty no more adventures for this boy. I should share that space with another cat or two. Dogs who do not chase me and older respectful children will be fine as well. I love to be pet and groomed which is good since my fluffy, thick, soft coat needs to be brushed often. My foster really adores me. See after I came to HTTR I got sick with something called an upper respiratory infection which made me feel icky and I stopped eating. She nursed me back to health and now she says I am one of her favorites. My new family should be aware I had an accident with one of my back toes. If you look closely you’ll see my toe is crooked. It doesn’t bother me amd the vet said not to do anything at this time but to keep my nails trimmed at all times. I be a tad shy at first but once comfortable will rub all over you. Please remember even though I am beautiful it is most important to understand both your and my needs and to not adopt on the way I look! Well watch out ankles here I come, to love up against that is! Rivers has been neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
