Peeking out from the cubby hole will be a beautiful soft sweet face. Behind that face is a shy girl who is wondering if you’re a safe friend. That girl is me, Rosalena. I was helped by a wonderful lady who does TNR in northern Minnesota. I was unable to go back to where I came from and in all honesty it is a good thing. I was ready to find a new home which is how I ended up at HTTR. There I learned how to calm down and love attention. The rescue did not get a lot of my history so I thought I’d share with you a little about me. I am a gorgeous young girl who looks terrified but honestly I’m just trying to find places and people who make me feel safe. When someone gently places their hand on my head and pet, I will softly close my eyes and enjoy the moment. If I feel threatened I will run low to the ground and find a place to hide. No worries, my foster mom would gently pick me up and hold me close. That was very comforting. My forever home must be a quiet place, preferably with no children or older children. A family who enjoys movie nights, gaming, or curled up with a good book are very much the humans for me! I will need another kitty friend or two who will be kind and enjoy comforting me with cuddles. Even though I talk a lot about being shy once I open up and feel safe, I will seek you out for attention. The shyness will deplete and we will be great friends. If you are willing to be patient with the reward of a fabulous companion I’ll be your girl!
Just to Review:
🐱Living Arrangements: No outdoor time, indoor only. I need a quiet predictable home
🐱Good w/ Cats: Yes please! I will need a nice feline buddy in my forever home
🐱Good w/ Dogs: Not sure, if you have a dog it must leave me alone. No chasing!
🐱Good w/children: Respectful older or no children
🐱Other: I will need time to adjust in my new home so please be patient. Since I am a long-haired cat, please keep an eye on my; pits, butt, and behind my ears for mats.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
