Saint came to us with his sisters, Noel and Autumn, when their humans could no longer afford to care for the trio. It was a very difficult decision, but they knew that it was necessary to give the kitties a better, healthier life. The three have always been together. Sadly, we know that finding a home to adopt the three together would be very difficult. As much as we would love for this to happen, we know that it is not practical. After talking with the previous family, they felt that Saint would probably be the more confident of the three to venture out on his own – provided there was another gentle feline friend in the home to keep him company.
Saint is a VERY sweet boy. Offer him a few pets and he will climb into your lap to get as much love as possible. He is happy to give head bumps (as do all three!) to show his love even more. Sadly, he came to us severely overweight, so we are slowly working on getting him down to a healthy weight. He had a recent dental to extract several teeth that were cracked and badly infected. He was a trooper during recovery and seems to be so much happier now. To help with his weight and keep his teeth healthy, he will need to go to a home that is willing to keep him on grain-free high quality canned food.
Saint is a tad shy at first but will warm up quickly and be your best friend. He loves to follow you around and keep up on any activity going on around the house. He snuggles with his sisters and would be a great snuggle buddy for another lonely kitty. We would like to find a quiet home where he can relax and just be the sweet cat that he is. We would also like to find a home that will encourage him to exercise/play to get him in better physical condition too. He would do well with older well-mannered children and even with a gentle dog.
Saint has been neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $200+tax.
