HelLo! My name is Sheldon but you can call me Shel. I was part of a large colony that was being TNR’d north of the Twin Cities this summer. The trappers knew something was wrong and sure enough x-rays confirmed I had a broken pelvis. After a few months of RnR I am finally seeking my forever indoor home! My foster mom says I am a wonderful boy! As chill as they come. I can be playful and silly but my favorite way to spend the day is watching birds, sunning myself, and cuddling. Many tell me if you want a feel-good cat, I’m your guy. My perfect home would be one with no or older children. I do not mind dogs but a feline pal or two would be best. I’ve spent a lot of time at the rescue alone due to healing which makes me miss snuggling with other kitties. Because of my pelvis being broken, I have been on Dasuquin, and should remain on that for the rest of my life. It’s a joint supplement to help prevent any arthritis from forming early. Don’t let that scare you, I’m one healthy and happy guy. My new parents will need to watch my weight so absolutely no free-feeding or extra treats. I will need to keep a stunning trim physique. So if you are into reading, gaming, movies, and more where I can curl right into you, grab a carrier and let’s head home!
Just to Review:
🐱Living Arrangements: Indoor only. I really do not want to be hit by a car again.
🐱Good w/ Cats: Yes, I will get lonely
🐱Good w/ Dogs: I don’t mind them, but absolutely not rough play or chasing.
🐱Good w/children: Not much experience but over 10 might be okay
🐱Other: No free-feeding & I need to keep a healthy weight. Continue joint support

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
