It’s not a glitch in the matrix; black is actually the most common coat color among felines. There may be a lot of black cats around here but I will push my way through to be noticed! My name is Silas and I am a stud of a house panther. It’s interesting, my past is like so many other cats who end up as a stray. I was born into a large colony of cats, so many black and grays! Well when a colony gets too many cats in it from reproducing, cats begin to get pushed out- typically males. We either fight to stay or wander off to find another safe place to live, which is what I did. I have not been with HTTR but my foster mom says I am one coooool cat! Words she’s used are: social, silly, talker, cuddle bug, busy, and sweet!   I do well with cats but could do without dogs. The humans are not sure if I have been with children before but my personality says I’d be great if they are responsible. Now, I was a stray who wondered so I should never be allowed to roam free again but maybe I’d like fresh air from time to time so an enclosed catio would be super cool. If not, its okay! Just open those windows! If your family is looking for a great all around boy, here I am!

Just to Review:

🐱Living Arrangements: Indoor only. But an enclosed catio would be cool.

🐱Good w/ Cats: Sure, but no crazy friends. I would be fine by myself too with lots of attention .

🐱Good w/ Dogs: Nah, I’d rather not please

🐱Good w/children: Not much experience but any age will be fine. Keep in mind I can still scratch and bite as that’s how an animal can communicate.

🐱Other: Nothin! I’m a great dude!!

Silas has been neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225 which includes tax.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor

If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.

If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
