Did someone say, those kittens are crazy?! Well stop right there! I am here to tell you I’m your gal! They call me Smokey around these woods. I’m the one who looks to be wearing a hat from the 1930’s. I was born to a lady who moved in with her family. There was no room for us indoors so they built kennels in their barn. That’s where we’ve been in the past 8+ years with my sisters. The family was moving so we found our way to HTTR. I am the purrfect package. Sweet, silly, calm, affectionate, and independent. I’m not crazy or crabby, just a little lady looking for my forever home. In foster I don’t beg for food and can pick at it throughout the day. My ear is super unique right? It’s a healed hematoma when the blood vessels burst. No one really knows how it happened. No medicine, no surgery, nothing needs to be done except be sure crud or wax isn’t building up inside since it’s so exposed. For whatever reason I tend to be a tad lazy and not clean myself, which means brushing me from time to time would be a great way for us to hang and keep me pretty. Please don’t let my age concern you, I just had a dental and a clean bill of health. I’m ready for another 10+ years of living! In my new home I could dig a catio, but no outdoor adventures please. I lived outdoors but was confined. Chill cat or dog friends are great or I’d be okay by myself. There haven’t been any children in my life but older kiddos would be fine. In concussion, I’m looking for a calm all around great friend and you’re looking for a calm all around great friend so we should be calm all around great friends together!

🐱Living Arrangements: Indoor only. But an enclosed catio would be cool.
🐱Good w/ Cats: Sure, but no crazy friends. I would be fine by myself too.
🐱Good w/ Dogs: Same as cats. Could take ‘em or leave ‘em!
🐱Good w/children: Not much experience but over 10 might be okay
🐱Other: Keep an eye on my dapper ear so icky stuff doesn’t build up!
Smokey has been spayed, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), vaccinated, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225 which includes tax.

If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
