Smurf came to us from rural Minnesota where he had been found as a stray, desperately trying to get into someone’s house for safety. He was extremely shy but very happy to be in human care once again. This sweet boy may take a little extra time to trust but he will reward you two-fold once he settles in. Smurf adores attention and will melt into your hand. Give him a few pets, and he will become your best friend. He is a very quiet boy with an extremely gentle demeanor. He does well with other friendly felines, however, he may be fearful of an assertive kitty who makes him feel threatened. He is very good when being held and appreciates being near his human. He has so much personality that has not yet come out. In the right home, we feel that he will thrive and become the biggest cuddle bug. He also has one eye that is smaller in size than the other. The vet noted that he has mild entropion in that eye where it may cause a little irritation. (This is caused by the eyelid turning in and the eyelashes rub against the eye.) Smurf would do best in a home with another gentle kitty who could help him feel safe and keep him company when his human is away. Due to his shyness, he would not do well with children or dogs. He will require a very quiet and patient home with a human willing to spend ample time to make him feel special.
Smurf has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for Felv/FIV/HW (negative). His adoption fee is $200+tax.
