In the summer of 2022 the local humane society received a call about kittens living under a mobile home. They asked HTTR to help trap. Instead of kittens, they trapped 3 adult cats that the shelter was unable to take so we went to HTTR. At the time I arrived they felt I would need to be relocated to another outdoor colony but after several weeks my foster could see I was coming around. They named me Summer! I have been to TCM before and struggled a bit adjusting at first. Before returning to my foster for a break, I really started to shine. This confidence has helped me learn that an indoor life with people is a great one! I enjoy my independent time roaming my foster home but will come find you when I’m hungry! The snap of canned food is music to my ears! Wherever I am, I’ll come running. My new home will need to be patient with me but with time I’ll surely come around to pets, scratches, and attention. I’m a tad picky with who my feline friends are- I dig calmer cats. Those kittens in foster were nuts! I made good friends with Lynda, but we do not need to be adopted together. If it’s not Lynda, I sure could use another kitty in my new home. Dogs and kids are not my fav, so please none of those! If you concur that a chill life with feline friends only is one for you, come on over and let’s start this beautiful friendship!

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
