Summer Shandy came into rescue at a younger age. He was mistaken for a female and was given the name Summer. After determining that he was ALL boy, his name was extended to Summer Shandy.
Summer Shandy is an extremely friendly boy with very few boundaries. He loves to climb and will most likely end up on your counter or table. He has a lot of play energy and will need a young friendly feline in the home to keep him entertained and help him burn off some of that enthusiasm. He is all about human attention and will appreciate any and all types of affection. He is also an avid biscuit maker!
Summer Shandy has been rooming with his buddy Vortex. If you are looking for a pair, these two would be a wonderful addition to your home. Summer Shandy Is accepting of new friends as well. He would probably do well with an older well-mannered child in the home. We are not sure how he would be with a dog.
He has been neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLV FIV (negative) and microchips. His adoption fee is $230 + tax

Step 2. Connect with the rescue. This cat is from No Kitten Left Behind-MN. They are a small, volunteer-run, foster-based rescue managed by one dedicated person. If you’re interested in adopting after meeting a cat, please email amtauer@hotmail.com to request an application. To help streamline communication, use the subject line: Application Request for [Cat’s Name] at TCM. In the email body, include when you met the cat and why you’d like to adopt them.
Step 3. Wait for an application to be sent back to your request. Please allow at least 72 hours for a response. If you don’t hear back after that, send a follow-up email in case the original was missed. Email is the best way to get in touch and begin the adoption process.
