Howdy. Surly here. My name, I’m told, means menacing or threatening in appearance. I’m anything but. I’m actually pretty reserved and even maybe a bit bashful. It may be because I was abandoned, along with some other of my house kitties, by my family and left behind in what used to be our home. So, hopefully you can understand why I might be a little untrusting of humans initially. I really am a nice and friendly boy if you give me a chance. I was actually named after a local craft beer, as were my other kitty friends Summit, Urban Growler and Tin Whiskers. Some of them may even be found hanging around here at The Cafe Meow. I’m one of the shyest of the bunch and since all of us boys are black cats (which personally I think are the best cats) it may be hard to tell us apart – I’m probably the one intently watching you from a cubby or safely perched atop one of the cat towers here. Don’t be superstitious though, come over and say hi to me. I’m sure we can become fast friends.
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
