This petite pussycat was abandoned. Left behind in an apartment with some other of her feline house guests (Summit, Surly and Urban Growler). We don’t know how long they were left alone in what was previously their home, but Tin Whiskers was dehydrated and underweight when she came to us.  For a brief period it was almost like she lost her will to continue on and showed little interest in eating or interacting with people or her feline friends.  But we’re happy to say she came out of the funk. She’s still underweight, but has a great appetite and while a bit guarded with other felines at first, is a friendly gal who enjoys being held (and it really gets her purr machine revving) and thrives on human attention. She wouldn’t mind being a spoiled only kitty, and given what she’s been through we can certainly understand, but she would be just as happy living with another friendly, mellow cat. A quieter, more routine or slower paced him would suit Tin Whiskers well. And while human kiddos are fine, rambunctious, unpredictable toddlers probably aren’t Tin Whisker’s thing. We could be wrong, but we see this precious girl napping in the sun on top of her cat tower, with some nice empty nesters fawning all over her.

This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
